Our church is participating in a Baby Bottle Boomerang.  On the small table in the church foyer (to your right as you exit the sanctuary) there are baby bottles for you to take home and fill with money.  The money that is collected will be split between Positive Alternatives and Huron County Right to Life.  Please be sure to return your baby bottles to the church no later than Sunday, November 7th.

The Interfaith Council would like someone to represent our church at their meetings.  They meet on the second Monday of the month at 1:00 p.m. at the First Presbyterian Church in Bad Axe.  Their next meeting is scheduled for November 8th.  If you are interested in representing our church on the Interfaith Council contact the church office (989-269-8664).

October is Pastor Appreciation Month.  There is still time this month to show your appreciation to Pastor Jerry, Pastor David, Pastor Carol, and Pastor Jon by sending cards, giving gift cards, providing meals, etc.  Use your imagination and creativity to show your pastors how much you care about them.

The community is invited to join us for a free movie, free pop, and free popcorn on Saturday, November 6th at 10:00 a.m. at the Bad Axe Theater.  The movie to be shown is “The Peanuts Movie.”

On the Saturday evening of November 27th the church will have a float in the Bad Axe Christmas Parade.  We plan to build the float in the church shed on Saturday, November 13th.  Be watching the bulletin for the time.  The theme for our float will be “Jesus the King is Born.”  We will be utilizing the Live Nativity costumes for those on the float as well as those walking with the float.  If you have an interest in dressing up and being a part of this outreach please contact Stacie Schweitzer as soon as possible.  This would be a great opportunity for families to serve together and experience the joy of Christmas in our community.
