ATTENDANCE SIGN-IN SHEETS

During each worship service you are asked to sign your name in the blue attendance folders that are in the pew racks.  It is important that you sign in each Sunday you are here so please help us out by doing this.

 

VOLUNTEERS NEEDED TO HELP DECORATE THE CHURCH

Volunteers are needed on Monday, November 29th from 12:00 noon to 3:00 p.m. to help decorate the church for Christmas.  On this day we will be decorating the Christmas trees and doing other decorating.  If you have any questions text (preferred) or call Rachel Woodward.

 

SOCIETY MEETING

A Society Meeting is scheduled for Sunday, December 5th at 11:15 a.m.  At this meeting we will vote on the proposed 2022 church budget and elect our 2022 delegates to Annual Conference.  By this Wednesday, November 24th copies of the proposed 2022 church budget, the Society Meeting minutes from May 16th, and a current church finance report will be available for you to pick up from the table in the church foyer.  This table is set up between the doors to enter and exit the sanctuary.

 

DECEMBER CHURCH NEWSLETTER

If you have an article regarding a ministry of the church that you would like printed in the December newsletter please turn it in to the church office by this Wednesday, November 24th at 9:00 a.m.  The December newsletter will be mailed out around December 1st. 

 

RIGHT TO LIFE – A CALL TO PRAYER

Your prayer is needed to support the Supreme Court Case of Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health Organization.  Huron County Right to Life is holding a Prayer Vigil at our church on Tuesday, November 30th.  The sanctuary will be open from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.  Please stop by at your convenience and pray for our Supreme Court Justices as they address this very delicate case.  Help us fight this battle on our knees.

 

OUR DAILY BREAD DEVOTIONAL

Free copies of the December-January-February issue of the daily devotional Our Daily Bread are available for you to pick up from the large basket that is on the table in the church foyer that is set up between the two sets of doors.

 

MISSION MOMENTS

This week be in prayer for the Free Methodist mission work in Egypt, Kenya, Philippines, Ethiopia, and Spain.  Also be in prayer for the Set Free Movement and for Free Methodist Churches around the globe.

 

BABY BOTTLE BOOMERANG

If you took a baby bottle home for the Baby Bottle Boomerang please return it to the church as soon as possible.  The money that is collected will be split between Positive Alternatives and Huron County Right to Life.

 

CHURCH GREETERS  

Wanted:  Friendly, smiling faces to greet worshipers for the 8:30 a.m. and the 10:00 a.m. worship services.  You would need to come about 15 minutes before the start of the worship service to hand out bulletins and fill up the candy basket with mints.  On the podium in the church foyer there is a greeter sign-up sheet for the month of November.
