On Wednesday Nights from 6:00 p.m. to 7:15 p.m. we are offering the following activities for children, pre-teens, and adults:

-Newborns Through The 8th Grade (Topic Is “Answers in Genesis”)

            Newborns Through Kindergarten – led by Coleen Sutton (meets

            in the group room and then moves to the preppers room)

            1st Grade Through 4th Grade – led by Mary Robinson (meets in

            the group room)

            5th Grade Through 8th Grade – led by Tami Peplinski & Katie

            Osminski (meets in Room #4 off the gym)

-Parents Of Newborns Through Elementary Age Children (Topic is a Bible

Study through “The Bible Project”) – in January this will be led by Pastor David Castle and Lindsay Fry (meets in the W.M.I. room on the west wing of the church)

-Ladies Bible Study (Topic Is “Open Your Bible”) – led by Vicki Affholter

            (Meets in the library)

-Adult Bible Study (Topic Is “Walking the Roman Road” – a study through

            the book of Romans) – led by Pastor Jerry Sutton (meets in the

            Senior Teen Room)

Huron County Right to Life is sponsoring its annual Roe V. Wade Memorial Service on Sunday, January 23rd at 1:30 p.m. on the Huron County Courthouse steps. State Rep. Phil Green will give the keynote address. Following the service refreshments will be served at the Bad Axe Knights of Columbus Hall.

RIGHT TO LIFE EDUCATIONAL FUND SCHOLARSHIP

The Right to Life of Michigan Educational Fund will award a $500 scholarship to one outstanding prolife high school senior in Michigan. The award may be used towards tuition, books, and/or supplies. The Huron County Right to Life will also be awarding $500 to their local winner. For more information and application please grab a Prolife Youth award packet from the table in the foyer.

2022 RIGHT TO LIFE ORATORY CONTEST

National Right to Life Committee, Right to Life of Michigan Educational Fund, and Huron County Right to Life presents their annual High School Oratory Contest. Prolife Michigan students are invited to research, write, and present a 5–7-minute prolife speech. For more information pick up the High School Oratory Contest packet from the table in the foyer or contact

Marcia Wolfe.

2021 CHURCH GIVING STATEMENTS

Your 2021 church giving statement has been placed in your church mailbox. Just a reminder, that your mailbox slot is the one below the label with your name on it. Your giving statements was mailed to you if you do not have a church mailbox or if you have a mailbox but have not been attending church due to Covid.

 

OFFERING ENVELOPES

Offering envelope packets can be found on the small table in the church foyer.  If you choose to pick up offering envelopes, please write on the provided sheet of paper your name and the number found on the offering envelope packet.  If you have offering envelopes left from 2021, please continue using them until all the envelopes are gone.  The envelopes are not dated so they can continue to be used in 2022.

 

CHURCH GREETERS NEEDED

Wanted: Friendly, smiling faces to greet worshipers for the 10:00 a.m. worship service. On the podium in the church foyer there is a greeter sign-up sheet for the month of January.
